Dum Dum Da Dum

Here is my *NEW* wedding album as promised. I'm ecstatic with how it turned out. My scrapping style is simpler than the current CK-esque trends, but I like clean lines. And something as classic as a wedding album really deserves a look that won't go out of style in a few years. Besides, diversity of style is what make this obsession hobby so fantastic. Everyone has their own look, and it's what sets paper artists apart.

The slideshow I created is not loading properly, but slideshows are annoying anyway and I need to get to bed. So here's the first page of the album. Click here to see the rest of the slides at my art gallery.

Supplies: Silhouette Level 1 kit, Level 2 paper pack, Soulmates stamps, Friendship Blessings stamps, and Heritage Alphabet stamps, Heirloom Alphabet stamps, Good Life stamps, My One and Only stamps, Typewriter Keys stamps, Card Commentary stamps, Stickease, Silhouette Creative Basics Collection, Garden Green Base pages, Amethyst CS and TX CS, Bamboo, Black, Desert Sand, Colonial White, White Daisy, Olive, Garden Green CS, Black ink, CTMH fonts 2 cd, Black and White waxy flax, 3d foam, Big Pinks flowers, Just Blooms paper flowers, Black Designer Ribbon Rounds, Create-a-Shade Pearl Paint, Chocolate Mini Medleys, Foundry Frames, Stickles, ScrapbookPictures.com (Karen Russell borders), Basic Grey Rub ons, misc brads, buttons and embellishments.

GOrgeous album and pics! I too am big on clean lines. I love what you've done here. I love how you used the Silhouette papers--just beautiful! Love the pictures too--especially the Romeo and Juliet-esque one.

Every once in a while I think about going back and re-doing our wedding album. It was my first scrapbooking endeaver and, well you can imagine, pictures cut into shapes and the whole nine yards. Then I think about all the scrapping I'm behind on and say forget it--it is what it is.

Oh my goodness Nona! Sooo pretty!

I came to look at your blog this morning hoping you'd put the wedding album pics up. I had no idea you and Dave were married on the exact same day Nate and I were married and I swear, my bridesmaids dresses were the exact same shade of purple! Great minds think alike!

Hugs,

Jenn

As always, Nona, you have outdone yourself! I am just in awe! (Now you've motivated me to do something with my wedding pics...we'll be married 7 years in October, so it's about time, dont'cha think?!?)
Thanks for sharing!

I saw your photos and layouts on the CTMH Artwork board, too. They are beautiful, and you're lucky that you had such great photos to work with! TFS
