So Excited...

So a few weeks ago our church announced the date of the upcoming "PRINCESS" ball. (FYI - it's this Saturday). It's a daddy/daughter dance for little girls aged 3-18. I was so excited for Dave to take Sammie, and of course I had to tell her about it. I even drew a little crown on the calendar so we could count down the days as it got closer. My daughter is ECSTATIC. First she was saying, "I'm gonna be Cinderella and daddy will be the Prince". Then this morning it was "I'm gonna be Ariel and daddy will be Prince Eric!" - she's never even seen Little Mermaid, so I'm not sure how she figured that one out - but I digress...

So this morning she wakes me up and is waving something pink in my face... "Momma, Momma! Look! It's the Princess ball from our church!". Apparently she had raided my Bible and found the bulletin insert. It was the cutest thing ever! I'm not sure which of us is more excited for Saturday to get here. The only bummer is that I can't go! I sure hope Dave takes "scrapworthy" pictures for me!

Speaking of church... I had my bible study ladies over for a valentine luncheon on Monday, and we made Valentines for our hubbies. We really had a great time, and they loved the cards! I chose Indian Corn Blue for the accent color - didn't want them to be TOO girly for our guys.

Supplies: (All CTMH) Silhouette Paper Packet, Soule Mates stamps, February Word Puzzle stamps, Black, Bamboo and Indian Corn Blue ink, Indian Corn Blue CS, Sparkles, Black Ribbon, 3d foam square. Finished size: 4" x 5.5". Design based on Becky Higgins sketch.

Sam looks so excited! Does she have just the perfect dress picked out?

Of course! Her grandpa gave her a box of dress up gowns for Christmas. So she has THREE to pick from. =) N
