I'm BACK!

I can't even begin to describe what an amazing weekend I had at Tresa Black's "Creative University". I got so much scrapbooking done, made incredible new friends, and laughed harder than I had in months. There is just something special and inspiring about being with other women that share a passion for paper crafting.

Tresa worked so hard to make this weekend a success. The retreat center (Lutherhaven in Coeur d'Alene, ID) was perfect. We had a huge scrapbook room, comfortable cabins, and incredible food all weekend. The classes were also very good and I can't wait to share all of the great ideas I picked up. Tresa went above and beyond with her make and take and workshop. All in all - I'm so glad I went and I'll definitely be going back next year.

The retreat colors were brown and pink. This is the sweatshirt I got, along with the tote bag Tresa made for the teachers, and the mini goodie bag that everyone received.

This is the 6x6 workshop album we made (I still need to finish the inside - then I'll post again). The 4x4 mini album was our make-and-take on Friday night. It was fun to use the emerging color technique and try out the Bind-it-All machine.
During the event, I finished 36 layouts!!!! YAY!!! Here are a few of my favorites:

Supplies: (CTMH: Barn Red CS, Smokey Plum CS, Colonial White CS, Garden Green CS), Cuttlebug flower and distressed lines folders, Wholy Cow Rubons (basic grey), Creative Imaginations Rubons.

Supplies for last 2 layouts (ALL CTMH): Enchanted Paper Pack, Alphalicious Cricut Cartridge, Goldrush CS, Colonial White CS, Sunflower Just Blooms, Pewter Button Nail Head.

Tomorrow I'll post a few other layouts that I'm just THRILLED with! It's so good to be back!

I'm glad you had a great time. I can't wait to see what you all made. Since I'm close now, maybe I'll try to go next year. Great work as always!

I've been to Lutherhaven with Tresa. She is so creative, inspiring and a general kick in the pants.

Did she pull out her Dance Generation game? That's hysterical!
