Playing with my new goodies...

I have a "girls night" every Thursday with some wonderful friends. We scrap and stamp the night away - so I got to play with some fun new goodies. Here are the cards I made last night:

Marjorie's Color Challenge Week 6: Olive, Cranberry, Indian Corn Blue
Supplies: (CTMH: Cranberry, Indian Corn Blue and Olive papers, From Me To You stamps), (SU: Always stamps), scallop scissors.

this one was just for fun
Supplies: (CTMH: Floral Tapestry papers, Twilight CS, Just Blooms paper flowers, colonial white brad), (SU: A little bit of Happiness stamps, watercolor crayons)

Versamark Resist Card - another great glossy paper technique
Supplies ALL CTMH: heavenly blue, outdoor denim cs and inks, dutch blue ink, stitch alphabet stamps, sans small caps stamps, brilliant backgrounds stamps, silver star brads, versamark, glossy cardstock, white sassy strands.

Marjorie's Color Challenge - Week 8: Breeze, Sunny Yellow, Clover Meadow
AND
Christine's Sketch Challenge Card
Supplies: (CTMH: Cardstock in the colors listed above, sparkles, archival black ink), (SU: always stamps, watercolor crayons, ticket punch), Javabellas stamps.

my personal favorite:
Supplies: (CTMH: Topiary and Cranberry CS, Sparkles, black archival ink), (SU: Unfrogettable stamps, watercolor crayons), Stickles

I also picked up one more great goodie with the last little bit of my Christmas gift certificate to our local scrapbook store: I've been working with the lessons in the book, and they are so cool! I can't wait to hone my skills, and someday show off my work here. Perhaps I'll even redesign this site by myself!!! Wahoo! It beats paying $65 or more for a pre-designed layout.
