B-I-N-B-O

My sweet daughter learned a new song at preschool...

We all know it. "There was a farmer who had a dog and bingo was his name-o..." (Is it stuck in your head yet?). However, Samantha doesn't quite get the spelling so well. She's hollering all over the house, "B-I-N-B-O..." I've tried to tell her otherwise, but we all know how 3 year olds are.

It wouldn't be so bad, except that when she sings it, it sounds more like "b-i-M-b-o" and I would hate to have her sing that in public. I can only imagine trying to explain it to another mother or worse - a little old lady - at the grocery store. --- "Why yes, we DO sing about loose women in our home. Don't you?" :)

Unfortunately, I actually have to go to the store right now to get something for dinner. Wish me luck that we make it in and out before she decides to sing. hehe...

LOL!!! Of course, you could say she's singing about a popular bread in Central America (BIMBO bread pronounced Beem-bo--equivalent to Wonder Bread here)...

that's ok - my daughter sings "stupid 'ole pickup truck you never let me drive" by Taylor Swift- in a screaming voice- over and over again all through the store... now I wait for hubby to get home and watch her so i can go shopping alone :)

How funny Nona! Just think, there are worst things she could say! LOL My son had a hard time saying "floppy disc" and kept saying it with the "s and c" in disc mixed up. It really didn't sound good I hoped to heck people didn't think we were teaching him that! Have a great day and good luck with the song!

My oldest son couldn't say his "f's" correctly and they came out as "p's". So when we were out and about it was actually quite nice......well, at least for a while.......when he would yell out, "Mommy! I just parted!" Of course, soon he mastered the "f's" and thing went downhill for a while.........

Your darling is cuter than a button!
