Close To My Heart will be introducing "Studio J" in just a few short months, and I can't wait to show it off to all of my customers! I was fortunate to have been given early access to Studio J, and have been using it for a few weeks now. I love it!
For those that don't know, Studio J is an online scrapbooking studio. It's like digi-scrapping, but not nearly as time consuming or difficult to use. Best of all - you don't need to purchase or load any expensive software on your computer to use it. Once it comes out to the public in March, all you need is an internet connection and my CTMH website to try the COMPLETE version of Studio J. The only time you pay is when you are ready to have your pages printed and shipped to you! Another great thing about Studio J is that you purchase pages - not bound books - so you can slip your layouts into existing albums and mix and match studio style with classic scrapbook layouts.
To make a Studio J layout, you load your pictures, and then select one of over 40 wonderful patterns from Imagine or Cherish. Next you pick one of dozens of exclusive CTMH paper packs. Then just drag and drop your photos (which can be resized, and even made black and white, or sepia!). Finally, add optional embellishments to your 2 page layout. Select from stickers, ribbons, brads, metal accents and even paper distressing! With Studio J, you don't have to be super tech savvy. With just a few clicks of a mouse anyone can make a gorgeous layout. Even my husband has made a few!
Today I'm giving you all a sneak peek at one of my layouts I created using Studio J! I used the "Dramatic Fashion" layout with the Aspen papers. This layout only took 30 minutes from start to finish - AND I was holding baby Ruby on my lap the whole time. You can't do that when scrapping a classic layout. In the coming weeks, you'll see more Studio J layouts from me! I hope that once it is available you'll check it out!
ps... ignore the arrows at the top and sides of the photo. Those will not print on the pages.

It`s wonderful! I can't wait to give it a go!
Looks like fun! Not only that you did the layout so quickly, but the project you are showcasing IN the layout!
Great job, Nona!
