American Girl Sweater

For Christmas, Samantha received her first American Girl doll, and several outfits for her (from her grandparents and aunt).  I was never into dolls, but our little Sammie sure is.  She is smitten with her Felicity doll and dresses her every morning (she tries to have matching outfits!) and does her hair.  In the evening she puts Felicity back into a nightgown, and gently tucks her into her box next to her bed.  Samantha carries her around the house, reads to her, and wants to take her everywhere we go!

Samantha's birthday is this week, and I wanted to knit something special for her little Felicity.  I settled on this pattern that I found on Ravelry.  (Sorry, only Ravelry users will be able to see it).  So this is what's on my needles for today.  :)  I may try and find a similar sweater pattern in Samantha's size so they can match.  But for now I'm just going to knit this up as quickly as I can (in the midst of other projects with deadlines).

I've enjoyed hearing about what's on your needles Nona. Although I'm totally in awe that you can start and complete projects so quickly. Sammie is sure to love the extra special gift in the sweater for Felicity. Keep up the great work!
