Happy Memorial Day!
Let us not forget the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our country.
These photos were taken in 2009, when we visited my Grandpa Bud and Grandma Florence in Minnesota over Memorial Day. Grandpa Bud was instrumental in setting up this section of the Brandon cemetery - to honor our Nation's Armed Forces. You could see the pride in his eyes as he shared this special place with us. It had been a project years in the making for him.
Grandpa passed away a few months later. We miss him greatly. He was an amazing man who loved his country. I'm thinking about him today!
