Vacation Pics

We're having a blast here in Cannon Beach. We've played on the beach, done a campfire and s'mores, had pizza lunch and ice cream, gone to the Seaside Aquarium, and more! Dave's done a bit of "fun" reading (a nice break from the school books) and I've finished a few knitting projects.

Here are a few pics of our trip so far!

Your photos are always so beautiful! What type of camera and lens do you use? Have you taken any classes to know how to shoot such great shots or are you a natural?! :-)

Great shots! Looks like you had fun!

You're getting GREAT with your camera! :-)
I really like the one of Sammie by herself. She looks like a little lady!
Have fun!

Hi De!
I have a Nikon D70 digital SLR and lately I've been shooting with a 50 mm fixed lens, max f-1.8.
Up until 5 weeks ago I just relied on intuition... but I've been taking an online photography class and my pictures have improved dramatically! It feels great getting out of auto mode and actually know what I'm doing before getting the shots!

Thanks for reading my blog! If you have any more specific questions about my pics, I'll try and answer them.

Blessings,
Nona

Thanks Nona! I have been looking at on-line classes but WOW are they expensive! Unfortunately I'm a tight budget right now so its merely a dream! :-) I look at your pics and think WOW all the time. Great job! I did purchase some "Photo Workshop" books that have assignments after each chapter and then you upload your pics to their website and someone critiques them. The only cost is that of the book, so we'll see how that goes!

Thanks! Always look forward to your posts!
