My card uses a heat embossing resist. I used detail clear embossing powder, and embossed the image onto Cranberry cardstock. Then I coated the whole thing in black acrylic paint, let it dry, and then used a baby wipe to rub the black paint from the areas that were clear embossed.
The result is that wherever the embossing was, the red cardstock shows through the black paint. This also works well with other colors of paint and cardstock. I did this card using the same technique.
Supplies: (CTMH: Black, White Daisy, Grey Flannel and Cranberry CS, black bitty brads, Black ink, Clear Detail Embossing Powder), Butterfly stamps purchased off ebay and I no longer have her info - which is a big bummer because I loved her stuff!
