Happy 4th of July!!! I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday.
Hubby is home today (yay!) and he's giving me some time to catch up on the million projects I have to finish before we go to California next week. One of those projects is a new video all about how to decorate the CTMH Linen Albums.
One of the albums covers I'll be showing in the video is the one below. Also, remember a few weeks ago how I teased you all about 2 top secret projects I've been working on? Well this is one of them. Every convention CTMH hosts an album contest, and since the due date was July 1st, I'm now able to show a little bit of my album. (I'll post pics of the whole thing after convention. Hopefully I'll place in the top 10 - or even win!).
The theme this year is "Celebrating the Magical Moments that Make Life Special". The album needed to be five 2 page layouts. Our 5 days with Evan were incredibly magical, and even though it didn't end how we would have liked, I thought this would be a good way to scrap our memories of him. It was a difficult album to put together, but ultimately quite healing. And I hope that it is a testimony of God's incredible love and power. He is continuing to bind up my broken heart, and I'm so grateful for our time with Evan.
That said, here is your sneak peak - the cover of the album. Stay tuned for the video in the next day or two. (To see a larger image, just click on it).

When I heard you were doing your album about your time with Evan, I immediately thought you'd win. Now after seeing just the cover, I'm absolutely sure you've won that contest. It looks beautiful. :0)
Oh Nona ... wow. I'm sure this is a gorgeous album -- just like the cover. I am glad it helped with the healing process, and my prayers are all over you guys!!
If I were the judge, you would win. I came over to your site after I commented on the BB about that album, just to see if you had anything else written here about it. My heart still breaks for you, but I'm so thankful God is healing your hurt. What a blessing those 5 days were for your family AND for him.
Wow, what an amazing project - I can't wait to see more of it - good luck!
(((hugs))) The cover looks beautiful, and I can just imagine the love and care and tears that went into this. Can't wait to see the rest.
My heart just broke for you and your family when I heard about Evan. I am happy you were able to find something to help you through the process. Your book looks gorgeous! Miss you and hope to see you next year at Tresa's camp!

What a beautiful, meaningful album! I know you will look back and be happy you created a keepsake of a time that was both so happy and so devastating for you. Best of luck in the contest--I'm sure you'll take top prize. Wish I could be in Florida for convention--maybe next time :)
