Inspired by wrapping paper

I went shopping at Target yesterday for a few things, and picked up this *adorable* wrapping paper (for my mom's birthday gifts). I'm sure all the true "ar-tist" paper crafters out there have been inspired at least once or twice from Target finds. Seriously - they have the best color combos anywhere...

Anywhoodiddly, all I saw were the cute cherries when I bought the paper. So imagine my surprise and delight when I get home and find the pink stripes on the back! Oh I was in heaven. It even inspired a little creativity this evening...

Don't look too closely - it's a humility card. This is a reference to something Kathi posted a long while ago on her blog about quilts that had one square sewn with intention mistakes to keep the quilter humble. So when you blow a card and don't feel like redoing it - you can consider it a humilty card and move on. supplies: All products CTMH - watermelon b&t paper (retired), Solo 9 stamps, May SOTM Say it in Style stamps, black ink, clover meadow cs, kiwi marker, clover meadow marker, bubblegum marker, watermelon marker, 3d foam. card size is 3.5x4.

WOW! That card is awesome! I have totally been inspired by Target finds - I wish there was one closer to us (sigh)...

I like the notion of the humility card - but I your card isn't that --- it is beautiful and happy and joyful!

Hope you are well,
Best wishes,
Sankari :)
