That was back in August.
After cleaning my scraproom last week, I found them again! I decided to try making a wall hanging - something where I could use up scrap papers and maybe have it turn out cute enough to sell or make a nice Christmas gift.
Well.... this is what I came up with! I was so pleased I even went back to Michaels for more canvases! LOL...
The JOY wall hanging uses Evensong paper and Evensong Creative Basics paper, christmas ribbon, white brads, cranberry grosgrain ribbon, and dimensional alphabet letters covered in liquid glass.

AWESOME projects, Nona! Did you cover them with anything? I just did my first canvas a couple weeks ago for my MIL for her b-day and I haven't given it to her yet cuz I'm trying to decide how to protect it - any advice? TFS!
Those are cute! I'm actually making something simular to them for Christmas gifts this year using coasters. I'll post them soon.
I believe I'm in love with your NOEL! I have two canvas pieces that would work beautifully for that that I've been wonderin' what to do with. I do believe I'm going to CASE your idea! Thank you for sharing!!!!
Jena,
I didn't coat with anything because I didn't want them to look shiny or get bubbly. I figure that since they are wall hangings they won't get handled much and will be fine. I also made sure the glue was right to the edges of the paper so that they didn't pull up. =)
Nona... stunning! wouldnt these frames and dim. alphas also make a great BABY NAME gift!!
Oh my goodness. They are both so cute! The Noel hanging is particularly stunning. Nice work!
