Week 2 Lesson Layout

Here is my digi layout for the "Now We're Rocking" photoshop class with Jessica Sprague. We learned some awesome things in this lesson - like how to burn the edges of our papers (which gives the same look as sponge distressing in real life).

I'm super pleased with this page and can't wait to show it to my mom! That is her and my (step)dad in the photo with their fur-babies. These are the same pupplies I blogged about here in August. Oh my how they have grown. :)

Oh - and for those that are curious - YES! I still paper scrapbook. It's just so much easier to share these pages as they are already on my computer. I have 6 pages to share with you using the Unforgettable papers from CTMH. I'll try to find some time to post the tomorrow. :)

(ps... once again - if you want to read the journaling, just click on the photo to see a larger version.)

I really like the four pics of the dogs in the circle. You do good work. I love traditional, hands-on scrapbooking/creating, but the appeal for digi scrappin' is there too. -from a fellow ctmh consultant

Nice! :-) I haven't ventured into Digi yet since I still have *so* much paper here to use. ;-) I did get 16 cards done yesterday! And so far I've finished one scarf and almost done with another. I've started my first hat, and I've got two quilt tops done. :-) Your challenge inspired me to get cracking on those projects I've just left for lost. :-)

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome layout, Nona!! The circle frame and the journaling inside the circle, the title, the burned edge, the date tag and the papers you've chosen...all work together to create an awesome layout! I look forward to seeing more of your pages...just curious, how long did this one take you? It's fabulous! YOU ROCK!!

Thanks everyone!

Barb - this layout only took about 30 minutes. It was the one JS taught - so it was a follow along. She provided the circle element as a template so we just plopped in our photos and journaling. However, she did provide another video tutorial to learn how to do it from scratch. I'll be busy tonight after Sam goes to bed. :)
