Mother's Day Card

I feel badly for taking so long to post this because the card is so special to me. This is the Mother's Day card that my sweet hubby made for me! On special holidays he always takes the time to go into the studio and raid my stash to make my cards. I feel so blessed to have a hubby who not only supports my business but enjoys it too!

It was extra special this year. He painstakingly embossed and inked those raised edges, and he actually sewed the button into place. Oh and did you see the detail on the leaves? Yup - all his ideas! The best part though - as he was crafting with Sammie he yells up the stairs, "Honey, this is FUN!" I just had to laugh. Looks like I'll be gaining a full time scrappin' buddy once Dave finishes school in August! (Just don't tell his buddies.)

Your husband is also a true artist! Sammie will either inherit both of your great artistic skills - or she won't be able to create anything, lol

The card is absolutely wonderful.

It's so special to read about a DH who creates something out of his love and gives it as a gift from his heart. My DH does the same. These guys are rare treasures with artsy flairs! Sweet card! I must post the pages that my DH made for our daughters a few years ago--still makes me tear up! Happy weekend!

What a great card. Your Dave sure does sound like a keeper. How wonderful that he supports you and thinks it's kind of fun as well.

Awwwwwwwww, that's SO sweet! You and Dave have such a special relationship - one of the many things I admire about you!

You'll have to tell Dave that his card is so stunning - very creative and very artistic! A real treasure!
