Hosea's First Pattern

A few months ago, I was inspired by one of Hosea's outfits (the one we lovingly refer to as his "skater dude" outfit) to create a new knitting pattern reminiscent of tube socks.  Except these socks are way cooler, and just for babies!

I'm calling the pattern Baby Tubies, and Hosea made the best model.

The pattern only uses about 100 yards of sport weight sock yarn, and you can knit the stripes in any color you like making the socks a great gift for either boys or girls.

As a way to increase exposure of my other patterns, I decided to offer this one up for FREE!  Click HERE to go to the Knit Picks website and download it for yourself!

Knit Picks featured my Baby Tubies pattern last Friday on their blog (for Freebie Friday), and they were so sweet and complimentary of my previous work.  You can read their post HERE.

I am working up a pair of these for a door prize for my midwife's birth center opening on Labor Day. I am still learning sock knitting so had to rip down to heel flap, twice...ugh....but, the pattern is great and I love, love the look! will be making a pair for my 8 mo boy soon (we have small feet) and maybe for a shower next month..thank you, so cute! I found on Knit Picks too.
