Card Class for September!

Check out the cards we'll be making at this month's class!  I just love the new Hooligans paper!  It makes the cutest cards - and they don't have to be just for Halloween!

Space is still available in the Sunday afternoon and Monday evening classes.  Pop me a message/email if you'd like to attend!

August Card Club Cards

This month we are using the Passages papers, and using some awesome paper flower techniques that I learned from my friend Donna Smith!  Thank you Donna for letting me teach your ideas to my customers.  :)

If you are in the greater Seattle area, and would like to attend one of these classes, please let me know.  I'm almost sold out, but there is one seat left for Sunday, and 2 seats left for Monday.

The Zippidee papers were perfect for this month's cards.  The theme is "cards for kids" and I will be teaching my customers how to use the various items in the CTMH Distressing kit.

If you are in the greater Seattle area, and would like to attend, please contact me by posting here.  Make sure to include your email address!

May Card Class

I can't wait!  My first card class in the new house is just around the corner.  I hope I can get my scraproom unpacked and ready in time!  Please let me know ASAP if you want to attend!  I have to order class supplies on Monday.

In addition, there are some AMAZING new products in the new Summer 2010 Close To My Heart Idea Book.  You'll have to wait until May 1st to see the book online, but here is a sneak peek at the cover (featuring my favorite new paper packet Cherry-O).  I've also featured those papers, and a few new stamp sets on the cards above.

I'll try to post one great new thing about the new Idea Book - or other May promotions - every other day until May 1st.  :)

April Card Class cards - just a smidge early

Since we'll be moving the first week of April, I have to be proactive about getting April class projects done!  This month my classes will be taught in "distance" format - since I have no venue to hold them.

Here are the cards I'll be teaching.  They feature the CTMH "Caboodle" papers, "Lots of Dots" alphabet stickers, spring stamps, and paper piecing techniques.  I believe that if you click on the photo you can see the photos a little larger.

I only made up about 20 kits, so I've set them aside for my regular class attendees.  Should there be kits left, I'll make them available to the general public through this blog.

Creative University and March Card Class

My wonderful husband will be minding the house and children for a few days while I enjoy 4 days away at Creative University!  This will be my third year going, and I couldn't be more excited - or less ready!  LOL...

I'll be spending all day today packing, and finishing up "month end" stuff for my business.  Can't believe we're almost into March already -unbelievable!  But, I digress...

Here is an early sneak peek at my card class cards for March.  I'm already filled up on Sunday, but do have some room Monday and Tuesday nights if you are in the greater Seattle area and would like to attend.  This month the theme is masculine cards using CTMH's "You Rock" paper packet, and I'll be teaching several techniques using liquid glass.

Enjoy!

You've already seen two of my class cards for January, but here is the whole trio.  We will be using the Veranda papers, the new Filagree charms, new stamp sets, and a different waterbrush technique on each card.

Class is just $7 or free with a $20 order.  Class dates are Sunday, Jan 10th (full!), Monday, Jan 11th (3 spots left), and Tuesday Jan 12th (3 spots left).

Please email me if you would like to attend!  nonapearl@firebin.net.

Also, a special for this month only!  When you place an order on my website - www.nonapearl.myctmh.com - and qualify to earn the Felicity Promotion for free (with either $60 in stamp purchases, $125 total order, $400 gathering, or signing up to be a consultant) I will send you a pre-stamped card class kit ready for assembly for FREE!  Here is a preview of Felicity:

October's Card Class Cards

Besides the candy holders from yesterday's post, here are the other 2 cards we are making at Card Class this month!  :)  It seems like just as I'm finishing one card class, it's time for another.  But that's a good thing because I *love* to teach!  I have some room in both Monday and Tuesday nights' classes.  Let me know if you'd like to attend (those of you in the Seattle area of course!)

First up is my Christmas card for the month.  All class attendees will receive a template and shopping list to make 24 of these cards.  This is a special perk just for them!  :)  No, you can't have this one unless you come to the class.  There, no one needs to email or post about that now.  LOL.

Supplies are all CTMH: Jingle Creative Basics, White Daisy CS, Holiday Trinkets stamp set, Tulip and Blush Inks, Liquid Glass.

Here is the last card.  Funny, I didn't notice until now that both of these cards feature stamp rolling. That is where you ink your stamp in a lighter color, and then roll the edges in a darker color before stamping.  This card is super simple, and was inspired by a card on Jeanette Lynton's blog (she's the CEO and founder of CTMH).

Supplies all CTMH: Chocolate, Cranberry, Goldrush CS, Many Thanks stamp set, antique copper brads, chocolate, cranberry and goldrush ink, 3d foam.

September Card Class Cards

Here are my other 2 cards I'm teaching at my card class this month! They both feature all new CTMH product!

The first card shows off the new Jingle papers, and the new snowflake "flurry" dimensional elements. I covered this one with bonding memories glue, then coated it with our prisma glitter. After that I lightly sprayed it with suave aerosol hairspray. Now the glitter doesn't flake off, but it is still brilliant and sparkly! :)

I wanted to show a simple photo card that could be easily repeated at home if my customers wanted to use this as their Christmas card. All attendees will receive a cutting diagram and shopping list to make 24 of these cards!

This second card is very simple, but a great friendship card (the inside says "you're special"). I used the Sweet Home papers and the new Childhood Portrait stamps (love these!)

June CTMH Blog Hop

Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! All artwork on the hop will feature June's SOTM, "Tender Tags" a set of 15 stamps!

If you have come here from Reba's Blog you are on the right path! If this is your first stop, you may want to go back to Jena's Blog and start from the beginning.

This month we have 42 CTMH Consultants sharing their SOTM creations, and other great CTMH artwork. Joining the hop is fun and simple to do - just click the link at the end of each blogger's post to move to the next one! If you get lost or a link doesn't work just click on links in the list below... Here we go!

I designed this card for my June Card Class and besides featuring the June SOTM, it uses faux stitching, paper flowers and brads for extra eye embellishment, and 3d foam for popping up the tags. Other supplies include Emporium papers, Pansy Purple and Petal cardstock, Pansy Purple, White Daisy, and Twilight ink, and white brads. The card measures 4"x5.5".

I used the same cute owl and a few of the scrolly stamps from the June SOTM in this card! Remember, the June SOTM is only available until June 30th, so contact your CTMH Consultant (or Me!) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount or even free!

Thanks for stopping by! Now "hop" on over to Misty's blog to see her work! Or... click on the links below for ALL the bloggers participating in the hop:
