Flower Girl Sammie

We had a busy weekend. Samantha was asked to be the flower girl in the wedding of our good friends the Giffords. She did an INCREDIBLE job - even I was amazed at how well she did (and I'm her momma!). She dropped the petals just like she was supposed to, and walked all the way down the aisle. She even stood up with the bridesmaids the entire length of the service! I couldn't have been more proud.

This was my favorite shot of the day: I used my 50 mm lens for every shot. f3.5, 350 ISO, Aperture mode, shutter 1/125 sec.

Twirling in her pretty dress - shot in Shutter mode with it set to 1/60 sec so I could get the twirl in motion.

Walking down the aisle.

I love how Sammie is staring at the bride, and how I also was able to capture a bit of her beautiful gown in this shot.

Sitting on the steps at the reception:

She looks absolutely darling Nona, and such a little big girl. Your photography has just become so awesome, that class is really paying off. I hope I can get in the fall course. So glad you shared them.
