I'll take a break from Studio J for the day, and share a quick Christmas Tag idea with you. These little gift tags are adorning all of our packages this year. They are super fast to make, and very cute!
I used a 2 3/4 circle punch and the Holiday Trinkets stamp set, and several different combinations of inks for ornaments. You could write who the gifts are for on the front, or on the back. Here are some ideas for ink colors you could use. Stamp the ornament in the lighter color, and the design in the darker color.
Crystal Blue/Moonstruck
Blush/Tulip (or Cranberry)
Creme Brulee/Goldrush
Sweet Leaf/Topiary
I used Grey Wool for the ornament bow/wire
Or use a first and second generation inking technique and get the same look using just one ink pad. To do this, ink your ornament solid stamp in the desired color. Stamp off once on scratch paper, and then immediately stamp again on your project paper (this is called second generation). Ink the decoration in the same color and stamp without stamping on to scratch paper (this is first generation). This technique works best with colors that are dark, such as Hollyhock, Cranberry, Olive, Moonstruck, Autumn Terracotta, etc.

Very cute and festive!
I can't wait to hear how your first Christmas with Ruby goes and to see pictures of it all. *Ü*
Good luck getting your knitting projects completed!
Hi Nona!
I am writing to see if you have any of your cupcake photo holders and/or your fingerless gloves left over from your craft fairs. If you do, I would be interested in purchasing a few.
Just LMK!
I love your blog!
SMiles,
Amy McGrew
